President’s Remarks
2026
Aloha and Annyeong-haseyo,
On behalf of the Korean American Foundation Hawaii (KAFH), it is my honor to welcome you to our website. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our mission and your support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, KAFH is dedicated to preserving and promoting Korean culture, heritage, and history in Hawaii and beyond. We are committed to honoring the legacy of our early immigrants while inspiring future generations to embrace their cultural identity with pride.
Each year on January 13, we commemorate the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to Hawaii in 1903—a historic milestone that marks the beginning of more than a century of resilience and achievement. Through cultural programs and community initiatives, we celebrate the lasting contributions of Korean immigrants and their descendants to Hawaii, the United States, and the Americas.
As we look ahead, KAFH remains steadfast in preserving this important history while fostering unity and collaboration within our diverse community. We invite you to join us in honoring our past and building a vibrant future together.
With warmest regards,
Francis C. Park
President
